Branding guru Alyssa Bonanno, and Fyre Festival crew survivor Will Desena, join Teams Kimberly and Edward to help listeners ID scammers before they get into our wallets, and also declare one host “The Winner.” Team Kimberly covers the true story of Shaman Durek, an Instagram-based spiritual advisor with a massive following, very shady backstory, and European princess on his arm. Team Edward counters with the tale of vintage infomercial king Don Lapre, who dominated late-night television as a salesman for sketchy products before face-planting into rock bottom.
